Last week Lily was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Today we found out it is stage 4.
Our family is absolutely devastated. But Lily is a fighter, and we are going to do everything in our power to see her through this.
In the last year and a half, Lily has grown into an amazingly independent young woman, working full time and and managing all of her own expenses. But cancer changes things. As she undergoes treatment, the demands on her body will require all of her strength. Working will no longer be an option.
We are in need of major support to help cover her immediate and ongoing living expenses, and to help with the costs of taking her to UCSF for treatments. While we don’t yet know the details of her treatment, we know that she has tough year ahead of her.
We’re launching this fundraising campaign so that we can help lighten her load. Any amount will be gratefully received. We are using GoFundMe as the platform to ease the contribution process.
