Thank you for even getting this far, as summer is ending, winter will be coming back up and I’m trying to raise enough money to get my dad off the streets for good, he has spent 7 winters outside now and as daughter it absolutely breaks mine and my sisters heart to see him like that, unfortunately we’re both in tough situations as well so we have nothing to help and it HURTS. We’re scared something will happen to him or he will get very sick. Men’s mental health matters so much and my dads has been really bad since he lost both of his parents, he lost his van, job and i know it’s effected him tremendously. Unfortunately our family has never been close to us so he doesn’t have anyone besides me and my sister and maybe you guys?? He just needs to hear and see someone cares so we can get our dad back. Being on the streets we don’t have a way to find him or contact him, sometimes for months if his phone doesn’t have service. This man would do anything for anyone, and give the literal only shirt off his back to you if you needed it but doesn’t know what that’s like back. He’s an AMAZING father and he’s close to 50 now, we just want him back he’s getting older. And we have missed a lot of time with him. I had a gofund me set up for him already and unfortunately due to scamming people it was took down and I felt defeated because I lost everything I had just came up with for him. I have found a van for 8,000 that is just like the one his dad left for him when he passed away to cancer, but was towed due to sleeping in it on a road not allowed. I could put it on my life that if we could raise this and get him that van and a place to live that he would cry his eyes out. (Me too). And it would change his whole life, he would have a fresh start, he’s such a hard working man and does so much for the people and elders around our community. He takes people’s garbage out weekly, he mows lawns, pulls weeds, paints there rooms. Etc , anything asked he is willing to do and that’s where his heart is. I will be posting videos and updates every step of the way. Life hasn’t been fair to my dad AT all and it breaks my heart I want as much time with him as I can, go on drives like we use to. It was hard telling him that my last gofund me was shut down after I kept him updated on it and seeing him start to realize this may really be the end of his struggling.
