Support Sylvia's Family After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
Good Evening friends & family. As you all already know this is Colleen Bruce. Below is a picture of myself and my cousin, Sylvia, in my Hair Salon. Dear Sylvia was killed yesterday 1/10/2025 in a car accident in Sanford Maine. She leaves one son and her husband.
The tough reality is that they are a family struggling to make ends meet. The how and why doesn't really matter, because we all have a story and a "back story." It is going to cost roughly 4,900.00 when all is said and done, to include a large urn, two momento urns for her husband and son, and a stone marker for the cemetery. To be completely transparent - There is a very small life insurance policy. However, her husband is in serious condition with kidney failure and dialysis. I called around to find a reduced price other than where she is at Heald & Black in Springvale ME. When I saw her poor lifeless body of the good hearted soul I know, I decided that, "WE WERE NOT going to cart her all over the state to bargain shop! And I have paid the biggest amount for now.
The upshot is: her husband is from Illinois and moved East for Sylvia, it's my guess he will return back to his native home where he has family, for his final days. I am NOT A BEGGAR, PAUPER or VICTIM, my husband, Mike and I and possibly with a little help from another relative, we are planning on covering these costs. WHY? I want to see Sylvia's husband be able to move or at the very least survive as long as he can. Therefore, I would like to see him keep the minimal life insurance.
Mike and I are not "broke" but we have limits, mortgages, and a pile of other bills like the majority of the world. If anyone who reads this is convicted in anyway to donate, tithe, do something for the less fortunate please reach out to me. [phone redacted] or you can send a check made out to; Colleen Bruce 584 Willey Road Sanbornville, NH 03872. I have receipts and I am more than happy to send a picture of them in a Private Message.
At the end of the day I couldn't bear to see her husband and son leave knowing they didn't know when they could get her ashes back. I plan on following this through plus or minus a penny from another soul. I just figured people send literally millions of dollars for causes a lot less important than this. It was recommended to me to forgo Go-Fund me as they take part of the money. either way, it is what it is, and the God I serve, ALWAYS honors a sincere heart.
We need to realize how fleeting life is, so lay down your grudges. Lay down your ingratitude. Lay down your jealousy and unforgiveness. Start being thankful, instead of whining about what you don't have, and no, we don't owe anyone anything, but no one owes us anything either. There for the Grace of God we all go, and will until the day we die! And remember, "Life at Its Longest, is Still Very Short." Regardless of one dollar or a thousand contributed, I'm solid with no regrets.
As of today 1/12/25 it has come to light that the only remaining family vehicle needs 3,000 worth of work to be road worthy
