Please help!

I created this Go Fund Me to help a friend who really needs a village. This person has no support from his family. I am so fortunate in my life to have a strong group of friends and family that I know would help me if I needed it. He doesn't have this support system, which is where you all come in.

At the core of many of his problems, he suffers from depression. He lost his job due to his paralyzing depression, rendering him unable to fulfill his obligations. He turned to alcohol which created this spiral downward that seemed impossible to overcome. 

Somehow, he picked himself up, got help for the alcohol abuse and depression. Now he is looking for another job while trying to appeal his termination from his old job. He's in a good place mentally and physically. He is a hard working author who has accomplished and published a lot of amazing things.

But financially, not so much.  During his downward spiral he stopped paying his rent and now faces eviction. Having no more income, he couldn't keep up with monthly bills and credit card debt. His credit rating is pretty bad now so getting a loan is very difficult. 

I know that you all, my friends and family, are very generous and caring people. I suspect that maybe you have $5 or $10 to spare to help someone that is really trying to get back on his feet financially. 

Please help if you are able. Feel good about the fact that you helped be the village for someone who really needs it right now.
