A recent tragedy has struck a Lake Zurich Middle School student in Lake Zurich this past weekend. Only days from the Christmas holiday, a young man at the Middle school lost his father and only parent currently in the USA to a hit-and-run accident. The boy and father fled here in 2019 as refugees from a dangerous environment in El Salvador. Dad had been working and trying to gain residency in hopes to bring Mom and siblings here to the USA.

We are trying to earn some money to help send his body back to El Salvador and for funeral costs. Donations will also go to help the young man's guardians in order to care for him in this time of need. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
