Our 2.5 year old puppy is battling what seems to be an aggressive form of cancer. He had a small lump on his side that our primary vet told us was a bone growth from a trauma to his rib. It’s progressively got worse and we decided to take him to the emergency vet. It was found his right lung was not working at full capacity, he had fluid around his lungs, and the mass looked to be cancerous. The ER vet was shocked that such a young dog formed this cancer. We are seeing an oncologist and hope to get more answers. He will soon get thoracentesis treatments to relieve some of the pressure on his lungs. Hank has such a big heart and such a kind soul. He deserves all the help he can get. Vet bills add up quickly and we want to do all we can for him.
