Hey everyone! Well, it's my final year at UTK and according to the Office of Financial Aid I owe $2,000 in order to finish out the year and graduate with my Bachelors of Arts in Global Studies with my minor in Classics. I had never planned on using crowd-based funding to pay for school - but as many of you are aware, schooling at UT continues to increase in price and scholarships aren't always a viable option. In the past I've been able to rely on the HOPE plus Merit scholarship - as well as the Achieve the Dream Grant - to help me afford tuition (in addition to Federal loans).

Unfortunately, I miscalculated my Hope Scholarship hours and came out barely over them. Apparently this translates not only in to the loss of the Hope - but also my Achieve the Dream Grant. So, I'm turning to you - my friends and my family - for help in paying for tuition. My immediate family cannot afford it - and, though I have a job, I have nowhere near enough money saved (I only began working three weeks ago) to pay this out of pocket.
