Hi my name is Tayla, I am raising funds to support my family in saying goodbye to our beautiful dad Paul.

Dad has passed away peacefully in his sleep, he is now at peace and he is pain free ️

In the morning of the 19th of October 2024 my dad was admitted to hospital. Later that night his doctor at the hospital informed me that they were doing everything possible for him but it was more likely that he wouldn’t survive this hospital admission. In the morning of the 20th I was called by his doctor and as his next of kin I was given two options, keep pumping him with antibiotics and prolong his suffering before he inevitably passes in the near future or to stop all medical treatment and allow them to make him as comfortable as possible before he leaves us. I had to choose option two, I do not want him to suffer and he would also not want to suffer. Over the last couple of years he hasn’t had complete use of his legs, my dad is usually the person who likes getting out and doing things but that has been taken away from him and his quality of life has just been diminished since. He was unable to receive surgery due to complications.

My dad leaves behind 4 children whom he absolutely loves and adores, aswell as 6 soon to be 8 grandchildren whom he also loves dearly. He came into our lives 22 years ago and took on my sister as his step daughter (she had her dad heavily in her life) and my brother and I were taken on as his own. From day 1 I’ve been an absolute daddies girl and he has never treated me any differently than he would if I was his blood, although we don’t share dna I am his little girl. He then brought my little brother into the world, his only biological child and he adores us all equally. My dad is a kind hearted, beautiful, emotional man with a big heart.

Dad’s medical issues and having to say goodbye to him at just 55 years old has rocked our worlds. We don’t have funds for a funeral or even a cremation and a gathering.

We financially can’t say goodbye to him or give him the send off that he deserves when the time comes.

Anything would be greatly appreciated, even just a share would go a long way.
