Help Support Milly's Emergency Vet Bills

My sweet girl, Milly, was taken to the emergency vet clinic on July 28th due to toxic lily ingestion about 12-16 hours before her visit. I am trying to help raise funds to cover vet fees.

Milly is only 2 years old, but she's always been a very curious, mischievous little cat. I woke up early on the 28th to find her feeling sick. She threw up part of a plant that was innocently brought into the home because, at the time, I did not know about the potential harm involved.

I took care of her and found that a lily had been tampered with while I was sleeping. The vase of flowers had been knocked on to the ground and, on closer inspection, I noticed that one of the petals and several leaves had been nibbled on. I was concerned and decided to look into the plant. That is when I realized she may need help. I called the ASPCA animal poison control line and they were able to confirm that this was a dangerous lily, and any contact could possibly be life threatening. I started a case with them and took her to the nearest emergency vet I could find, but my poor girl had never been in a car ride so long.

She was seen almost as soon as we arrived and admitted to the ER overnight, she is receiving fluids to flush out her system and hopefully eliminate the toxin that could cause her kidneys to fail. Her kidneys are being monitored through blood tests in 24 hour intervals. She will be staying at the emergency vet for at least 48 hours. I know she's a strong girl, and I am hopeful that she will be okay.
