Mona needs surgery

Hi, my name is Dolores Ibarra and I am la Mona's niece.

In 2022 la Mona started having severe pain on the left side of her body, and if you may recall they had covid in January of 2022 and we all thought that the pain was a result of the virus. Unfortunately, the pain increased to the point that any sudden movement, carrying of something heavy, or even bending down caused an excruciating pain that left her bedridden for days.

We took her to the doctor and the results came back as two tumors in her uterus pushing up against each other. The tumors are certainly the size of lemons causing the pain and it's been over a year now since the diagnosis and the only way for her to have relief is through surgery.

La Mona unfortunately does not qualify for any sort of medical assistance and it has been hard for all of us to watch her in pain due to the tumors. If you know her personally you know that she is such a lively person with a big bright smile on her face. She has had a difficult life and her health issues have been limiting her day-to-day functions. We are all used to seeing her live her life to the fullest spending time with her friends and family and most importantly her beloved pets but due to the pain, she has been limiting herself.

Over the past few days, the pain has gotten worse and she hasn't been able to work at all.

She is a single mother living with my mom (another single mother) and while we all try to help in the most that we can $25,000.00 is not easy money to come by especially for my parents who live paycheck to paycheck.

We are asking for help as our last resort. Any little that you can donate would be great. We are wanting to at least have enough for the down payment so that they can get the pain-causing tumors out of her body and bring her the relief she needs to continue living her life.

Hola mi nombre es Dolores Ibarra y soy la sobrina de la Mona.

En 2022, la Mona comenzó a tener un dolor intenso en el lado izquierdo de su cuerpo, y si recuerdan, tuvieron covid en enero de 2022 y todos pensamos que el dolor era el resultado del virus. Desafortunadamente, el dolor aumentó hasta el punto de que cualquier movimiento brusco, cargar algo pesado o incluso agacharse le provocaba un dolor insoportable que la dejaba postrada en cama durante días.

La llevamos al médico y los resultados fueron dos tumores en el útero que se empujaban uno contra el otro. Los tumores son ciertamente del tamaño de limones que causan el dolor y ha pasado más de un año desde el diagnóstico y la única forma de aliviarla es a través de la cirugía.

Desafortunadamente, La Mona no califica para ningún tipo de asistencia médica y ha sido difícil para todos nosotros verla sufrir debido a los tumores. Si la conoces personalmente, sabrás que es una persona tan animada con una gran sonrisa brillante en su rostro. Ha tenido una vida difícil y sus problemas de salud han ido limitando sus funciones diarias. Todos estamos acostumbrados a verla vivir su vida al máximo, pasar tiempo con sus amigos y familiares y, lo que es más importante, con sus queridas mascotas, pero debido al dolor, se ha estado limitando.

En los últimos días, el dolor ha empeorado y no ha podido trabajar en absoluto.

Ella es una madre soltera que vive con mi mamá (otra madre soltera) y aunque todos tratamos de ayudar lo más que podemos, $25,000.00 no es dinero fácil de conseguir, especialmente para mis padres que viven de cheque en cheque.

Pedimos ayuda como último recurso. Cualquier poco que puedas donar sería genial. Queremos al menos tener suficiente para el pago inicial para que puedan sacar los tumores que causan dolor de su cuerpo y brindarle el alivio que necesita para continuar viviendo su vida.
