The Power of Music Against the Horror of War

Donation protected

My name is Konstantin, and I’m a professional cellist from Ukraine.

Music has always been my way of speaking to people — of expressing what’s hard to put into words. But in these difficult times, as my country lives through war, music has taken on an even deeper meaning. It has become a form of emotional support — for myself, for listeners, for anyone who needs a moment of quiet and light.

I’m raising funds to purchase a high-quality cello — an instrument with deep, rich sound that will allow me to fully realize my artistic potential and share that music with others. My current cello has served me well, but it no longer meets the level of expression I strive for.

This is more than just a personal dream. I truly believe that music can heal — that it can offer a quiet refuge for people during difficult times.

That’s why a portion of the funds raised will be donated to Superhumans, a Ukrainian medical center that supports civilians and soldiers wounded in the war. They provide prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, and psychological care. I want this project to support not only my growth as a musician, but also those who have given so much.

If my story resonates with you, I would be deeply grateful for any support.

Thank you for helping me bring music to life — and share it with those who need it most.
