Maiya Come Home

My name is Devin and my wife's name is Whitney. We had our daughter Maiya-Ho-Ka Marie Burke 13 weeks premature. Her first name means (she moves forward) in Choctaw. Maiya was born (2 Lbs and 13.75 in.) , and was originally due on September 2, 2015. Maiya will require many more weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Fresno Community Regional Medical Center. Whitney has left her job in order to stay with Maiya and I am sacrificing not being with my family to work. We are fortunate to be able to have Whitney stay at a place called "Terry's House," which is across the street from the hospital, however; the cost is $30 a day to stay there, and is becoming hard to afford. Being able to hold and breastfeed our baby girl is significant  in Maiya's progress.
