Russell Steele

I'm making this GoFundMe because I don't know what else to do... on March 27th the family and friends of Russell Steele were handed a devastating blow. Russell passed unexpectedly and the loss has been tremendous. I don't know how to help his absolutely heartbroken parents. He was their miracle baby, an answered prayer, and the one who healed their hearts from loss before. The pain they are experiencing now, is unimaginable. His loss has also absolutely torn my best friends heart in two. He was the love of her life. So much so that she doesnt even remember herself without him. It has always been Russ & Jamie. Im trying my best to show her she isn't alone, but how do I show her she is strong enough to carry the weight that they have shared for the last 13 years? She will have to be strong, because now she has to be Dad and Mom. As if the loss I've described wasn't tremendous enough, this is where it will ultimately be felt the most, and is what has brought us all to this page. The loss these kids have suffered is profound and growing up looks alot different for them now. Nothing will be able to fill the void left behind or heal these broken hearts, but I would love to be able to get enough donations to cover his final expenses, we could remove that burden from his parents. It feels so cruel to think of them having to pay for what was once their greatest gift to be taken from them!! We could give Jamie a little more security as she figures out how to do this on her own, hopefully remind her she is not alone!! We could also give these kids a "go ask your dad" fund. That way if there is something special they really want or need, it can actually come from money pulled together in their dad's honor. Can't think of a better way to honor his life than helping to honor the commitments he left behind to those he loved!!
