Help a vet from being homeless

Hello, I'm a disabled Veteran and my current profession is an over the road truck driver. I chose this profession because I have bad knees related to when I was in the military and can't stand for long periods. On Feb 2, 2019 I injured my left foot while walking along side of my trailer. Stepped on a chunk of ice/snow and rolled my foot to the inside, tearing my tendon. I kept walking on it and within hours I severed the tendon. At first the injury was covered by workers compensation. Just before the first surgery to repair the tendon and chipped ankle bone worker's compensation dropped the claim. 3 - 4 weeks after surgery I developed 4 different fleshing eating bacteria's and had to have a 2nd surgery. This surgery opened the wound to a point where the surgeon couldn't close the wound. I have been on daily treatments of antibiotics and hyper bariatric chamber treatments. I have undergone many different types of skin grafts and wound vacs but the wound is still not healed. Since Feb I haven't been able to weight bear or walk on the foot and my leg muscles have deteriorated which has prolonged the process. If that is not bad enough I am a type II insulin diabetic. Which has also slowed the healing. I have had no income since my last pay check in February. I have an ongoing case against worker's compensation company (American Interstate Insurance Company). However I have been informed this case could go on for a long time. I have been frugally living on my savings which is now running out. I have nowhere to go. I have no way to support myself come January and fear I will be homeless. I just need enough money to last 2-3 months till hopefully I gain enough strength to walk and pass a Federal Medical test and apply for an over the road trucking position. I would try to post images of the foot but Facebook would just block or cover it, as I have already tried. I have reached out to unemployment and have been denied any assistance. I have gone to the food bank which has been a great blessing, I eat 1 or some time 2 meals a day to keep the grocery bill down. I received energy assistance from the "Hero Fund" through the Veterans Administration so I won't freeze to death this month. My vehicle needs repairs which I can't afford and I fear I won't be able to stop the vehicle. There are many past bills which I simply can't pay and I'm sure I've ruined whatever is left of my credit. As I stated I just need to get through 2-3 months. I have worked all my life and never thought I would find myself in this direr situation. I would greatly appreciate any financial help or guidance to keep me from becoming homeless.
