The Shanks are one incredible family, and they need your help.  Their youngest son, Caleb, was diagnosed with cancer a few months back.  He is a Sargeant in the Marines Corp and is stationed in Camp Pendleton, California, where he is under the best military medical care possible.

As Caleb goes through an extensive treatment program, which might require at least one more operation, his Mom & Dad - Patty & Jeff - naturally want to be with him as he recovers from invasive surgery and goes through chemotherapy.  Because Patty & Jeff live in Colorado, the expenses to travel to California, coupled with the lost wages from time off of work as well as the cost of lodging and food, have been an immense hardship for them. 

Patty and Jeff are struggling with this financial burden and could use a little reprieve by simply not having to worry about these expenses for a while.  They are a very close knit family and being together in times like this is of utmost importance to them.  Their travels to California have been limited by a lack of funds, which breaks their heart not being able to be with their son as often as they would like to - as often as they need to.

If you are able to donate a small contribution to their cause, any little bit will help, they will be tremendously grateful.  Let's help them be with their boy!  :)
