The Fallbrook/Bonsall community has lost a true warrior. Shawn Marie King Mendy was  a devoted wife and loving mother to 2 young boys. She passed away suddenly on June 25, 2015 while the family was on vacation.
She was a shining example of grace and courage, always putting her family first.
She was the organizer, the scheduler, the accountant, and the keeper of the sanity.

She was an active volunteer in the community and would never say that she didn't have time to help out with a project or a cause. Fallbrook Youth Baseball, Bonsall PTA,  Fallbrook Youth Soccer, and many many families have all come to know her through her selfless donation of time and talents.

Her passion for family and community was inspiring and her legacy will continue on throughout our small town.  Now, during this tragic time, we need to show our
support and gratitude for all that she has done for us.  With heavy hearts, we are seeking donations to help cover the family's basic expenses over the next
several weeks, including meals, travel, and medical expenses.  No amount is too small, and any amount is greatly appreciated.
