So I am once again at a cross point where money has run out and I don’t have a path forward. Between unexpected medical bills, tax bills, and lawyers bills, I know I can’t pay for anything else I need to this month. I have less than $50 in the bank, and that’s about enough for a tank of gas so I can get to work, but not enough for childcare which I need in order to be able to go to work. Gorgeous Girl is unable to contribute to our financial situation, as she has severe epilepsy and is having between 10 & 20 seizures a day. It’s scary to see, and she can’t stay home with gorgeous baby. It’s bad enough she can barely be left home. A couple weeks ago she ended up in the ER and was admitted to the hospital for a week because she had so many seizures her brain basically shut down and she was only semi-responsive for 5 days. So I honestly should be looking for a caretaker for her when I’m at work. But that’s something I know I can’t afford any time soon. Each seizure eats a little bit of her memory and it takes a little longer every day for her to recover from them. Sometimes when she comes to it takes hours before she knows and remembers where we are, why we live here, and who lives here.
