Help during surgery and recovery

Donation protected
Update: my original surgery was postponed poned and is now happening November 25th!

Hey pals,
My name is Daisy. I am a chronically ill, queer healthcare worker. My health has not been great over the last while, but the past few months things have been going steadily downhill, and I will need to have my gallbladder removed on August 27th. I have Crohn's disease as well, which intensifies things a bit. I will need to take two weeks off work and unfortunately, I don't have short term disability benefits and I am unsure how I am going to be able to manage bills/rent and groceries. For at least the first few weeks post-op I will have to eat a specialized diet, to aid in my digestion. This will require spending more money on groceries than i already do. I am already just barely scrapping by and have fallen a bit behind on a few of my bills, as I have had to take time off due to being too ill to work, and for pre-op appointments. Losing my wages for two weeks while I recover will absolutely destroy any amount of stability I currently have, and the financial stress I've been under has already been making my symptoms worse. If you're able to help out at all, even just $5 or $10 will go a long way in helping take off some of the stress and allow me to fully recover so I can get back out there and continue helping my community!

Please message me with any questions, or if you are able to help in any other way, such as helping with meals (I will be bed bound for the first few days post-op) walking my sweet angel of a dog, anything like that.

Thanks for the support and help, I couldn't do it without y'all!
