Hello Family & Friends,

As you already know, Devon's main goal since he was a very tiny kid is to play college football.  He has been blessed to have awesome support to guide him in the right direction to do well in school, be a leader, be courteous, gracious, and always, without a doubt, have faith.  He has played football for nine years, he has worked hard, very hard.  I always tell him envision it, focus, have faith and it will be yours.  
He has proven to himself he can do it.  Devon has been given an invitation this week to the FBU Top Gun showcase. This is an elite national showcase by invitation only.  He proved over this past weekend at the regional camp he has what it takes.  When we left the camp, he had his head a little low;  a few awards had been given out, and he didn't recieve one.  I told him, "there's always Top Gun."  He told me, "you have to be great to be invited to Top Gun."  Well low and behold, he recieved his invitiation on Monday.  The show case is in Ohio in only 3 weeks!  
I thought to myself; how on earth am I going to come up with the money to pay for this?...he has to go, I have to get him there! This opens the door for him, this is what will take him to the next level in his young football career. He will be trained by former NFL coaches and players. This is a such an amazing opportunity for him... I couldn't be more proud!
