As most of you already know, my health has been bad since I caught COVID in 2020. I’m what the doctors call a “long timer” I didn’t get to work for 4 years because I was in and out of the hospital and come close to dying more than once. I finally got well enough to go back to work in 2024 and worked until January of this year and here I am again out of work. I continue to have blood clots in my legs and lungs. I have had 4 strokes. One of which has affected my vision in my left eye. It’s also affected my balance. I walk like a person that is intoxicated sometimes. My sense of touch is decreased in both of my hands. I have stents in both femoral veins that are occluded and have a 40% loss of blood flow to both lower legs so my feet stay cold and purple. I’ve recently been seeing a pulmonologist bc they have found several nodules on my lungs and kidney disease. I have filed for disability but my lawyer says it’s taking up to 250 days before they even review my application. I don’t understand how the government thinks a person is supposed to live without an income for that long. Mason and myself have moved back in with my son. Him and my sister are helping as much as they can. I don’t know where Mason and I would be if it wasn’t for them. I’m embarrassed for even asking for help but here I am asking.
