Hi, I'm Denise, a former Radio City Rockette. I've toured the country and Australia dancing and truly got to live my dream.
After many years in New York City, I moved back to my home state of Michigan to create a studio where anybody, any level, any age, any size, any gender could dance and be a part of a community.
During the most challenging hurdles of finishing the buildout, I was manipulated into signing a loan agreement that, unknown to me, had my house as collateral. I was not educated on this being a possible arrangement for loans. The buildout for my business was over budget, and I reached out to my mortgage broker about selling my house, trying to find a solution. He came to my house with a check and a fat legal document. Then Covid hit. I had to shut down my new business, which was in its beginning growth stage.

I was paying back this loan, but not fast enough for the lender. My mortgage broker was to do a cash-out refinance to pay the balance off in one effort. Instead, he kept having me sign documents, leading me to believe we were on our way but never followed through on finalizing. He also promised the lender that we were doing a cash-out refinance, and week after week, nothing.
So, here we are. I am doing okay and am paying my principal mortgage and all other bills on time. But I don't have $21,000 to hand over at one time.
My credit was solid before opening my business and before Covid, and now it's not strong enough to get this quantity in the form of a loan.
These are the most desperate of times for me and my spouse. So please help with anything you can. I'm open to answering any questions.
