As you may have heard, Mike was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer. He has already had one procedure done, and is in the midst of chemotherapy with another operation in the future. We would love to help alleviate the stress of the medical bills he is facing. If you're able to give, we know Mike would appreciate it!
Here are a few details from Mike:
In mid July I started having some strong abdominal pain and went to have several tests run to see what it was. I found out I have a cancerous tumor in my lower abdomen caused by a form of testicular cancer. This has also caused a large blood clot in my right leg.
On July 27th I was admitted to Methodist Hospital and treatments started on July 31st. This includes several sessions of chemotherapy which are administered for 5 consecutive days along with Dr's reassessing treatment along the way.
Right now the plan is to have chemotherapy sessions for 9 weeks. I just finished with week one, so 8 more to go. I also am having physical therapy to repair my leg. The blood clot has made it difficult to be very mobile at this point.
