Hi everyone my name is Keira,

I am 15 years of age

On the 22nd of November 2025(my 16th birthday) I am booked to do my first ever sky dive from 15000 feet. I’m putting my brave pants on I’ll be doing this skydive for an amazing charity that has helped me personally and changed my life.

At a very young age I realised that my hair wasnt growing the same as everyone else’s. As I grew older, my hair stayed short and thin. Not having much hair until the age of 5 then it growing slowly, broken and brittle made my confidence as a child very low and made me self conscious.

A few years later i was diagnosed with a rare condition called short allergen syndrome which means my hair will not grow healthy and will always be very thin and broken, one day i could potentially lose my hair and Iv had to accept that from a young age. The little princess trust made me my first wig last year and I felt amazing finally having healthy long hair I can show off. The little princess trust provide a new wig every year for me until I’m 25. This has changed my life completely having my confidence take massive strives forward and a reborn smile on my face! The little princess trust are a charity who make wigs for children with conditions and illnesses, they rely on people to donate money and hair to make children’s dreams come true. I would love to raise as much money as I can for this charity so they can continue to help and make other children’s confidence shine just like they have mine.
