Hi, my name is Brenda, I am fundraising for us to find a temporary place to stay in and to be able to buy some clothes. It all started with the boiler, It caught fire, and burned everything that was in the garage. How it all happened on January 1st: Me, My mom, and my sister were barely getting home from being at Kimah at around 2:30pm. We had went to Kimah to go watch the fireworks, and my dad had stayed home. When we got home, my dad had already showered (with cold water) (at that moment, my dad hadn’t told us he showered with coldish water), then my sister went to shower (my sister was the one to tell me that the water wasn’t getting hot and it was super cold). After I knew that the water was cold, I went to go push the button that the boiler had (the button on the boiler was only pushed when their wasn’t any hot water), after I did that, we waited a few minutes for the water to heat. My mom was going to shower after the few minutes. She got in the bathroom to brush her teeth and went to shower all normal. Me and my sister went to go sit down in the living room, to watch TV. We had gotten our 3 dogs in the house to watch TV with us (they were outside, doing their business). 5 minutes passed, and I heard something dropped in the garage, I thought it was a rat who was running around and dropped something in the garage. Me and my sister ignored it and went back to watching TV. Then 2 minutes passed and we heard something drop again but then we heard glass, and then we heard all type of stuff dropping. We all got scared, So I quickly stood up and went to go tell my dad to check it out. He opened the garage door and black smoke was getting in the house, my sister then quickly got the dogs out of the house, meanwhile I went to go hurriedly get my mom out the shower. I had my phone and bag in my hand but since we had to open the back door and front door, our dogs were going to get out the front door and runaway. I grabbed my pug, because I knew if I let her get out she was going to runaway, the other dogs are more chill and would less likely run away. After I grabbed my pug, I got the car keys and went outside through the backyard door to give my dad the keys so he can move the cars from the driveway. I completely forgot about my bag and phone because of how scared and horrified I was. My mom was then changing in our yard because so much neighbors were watching the house burn and calling 9-1-1. Our neighbor that lives in front of us, offered her yard to put all of our dogs in there. After we knew the dogs were safe, the police and firefighters came to our house and started trying to put out the fire. All me and my family could do was watch all of our stuff burn down quickly. I was really nervous, scared, and feeling all types of emotions. I could see it in my dads eyes that he was trying not to cry, he was really upset and I knew he was feeling all sorts of emotions. An hour had passed and the firefighters had put out the fire, then the owner came (we were renters at that house) and started talking to the police and firefighters to see what they could solve. We were shortly able to get in the house and our hearts tore down when we saw everything burned in the garage. My dad had so much stuff that was worth a lot. At least 20 million or more dollars were lost in that garage. All of our dirty clothes that were in the garage got burned, which was technically all of our clothes because I was going to wash our clothes the next day, since I always wash on Fridays, and this happened on Thursday. Now inside the house, everything was burned as well, and filled with all the smoke. Everything smelled burnt, and we tried to see what we could save but nothing was save able. This was an experience that we will never forget, and we are so heart broken that all of our lives just came crashing down like this. We are glad to accept whatever you can help us with. And we will always be grateful with whatever you can help us with. We appreciate and are so grateful for you!! Thank you so much .
