On August 10, 2025, at 12:37 a.m., our dear friend Alexandru Pascariu tragically and unexpectedly lost his life in a car accident in Phoenix, Arizona.

Alex was born in 1988 in Romania and grew up surrounded by the rolling hills and mountains of Maramureș. From a young age, he was an adventurer at heart, curious, daring, and always ready for a little harmless mischief. His quick wit, dry sarcasm, and magnetic energy drew people in wherever he went, leaving lasting impressions and cherished memories.

His passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his friends and family, both here and in Romania. Alex’s family is now facing the difficult and costly process of repatriating his body from Phoenix back to his native country, to rest where his heart was: at home.

The costs for the repatriation and burial are substantial. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and help his loved ones honor his memory in the way he deserves. Thank you for your generosity, support, and love during this heartbreaking time.
