Hello my Relations! My name is Melinda Hale I was asked by David Patterson to set up this GFM & in his own words for his beloved wife Marcia Patterson who passed away on Wed. May 31st. She had been battling a liver disease (Cirrhosis of the liver). The past 7 months Marcie has been in & out of hospital 6 times the last time she stayed 23 days before her final journey. She was one week away from receiving a Liver transplant but had a major set back Kidney failure due to Cirrhosis.

Marcie comes from the Northern Cheyenne tribe from her Father’s side & Hawaiian decent from her Mother’s side. She was the beloved soulmate & wife to Dave for 23 years. A Mother, Grandmother, Auntie & Sister. She is survived by her Children Melissa, Steven, Stephanie, Denise, Jesse. Her brother David Surveyor Jr. Grandchildren Sidney & Marley.

Preceded in death with her parents David & Ruth Surveyor Sr. Brother Timmy Surveyor, sister Michelle Surveyor.

Marcie loved her Native community she wanted to help/give back to her community she start to work for SCIC, American Indian Changing Spirits, Native American family center,& Tarzana treatment center. She loved sewing, beading & The Dodgers. Most of all seeing her relative’s & extended family at Pow Wows also making new friends.

Dave/family appreciate all the continued Love & Prayers.
