Help Bring Mauricio Home to His Family

On September 25, 2025, Mauricio’s life changed in an instant. While stopping to pump gas at Lobo Mart , an undercover officer approached him and questioned him simply because he “looked suspicious” while standing near his dirt bike. He was racially profiled. After seeing his ID, the officer handcuffed Mauricio and contacted immigration authorities.

Mauricio is now detained — separated from the people who love him most.

He is a devoted father of two young children, a 6-year-old boy and a 11-month-old baby, who miss him every single day.

Mauricio has no criminal background and has never been arrested before. He is a kind, hardworking man who has spent nearly his entire life in the U.S., building a future for his family and contributing to his community.

This fundraiser is to help cover legal and attorney fees so Mauricio has a fighting chance to come home. His family just wants what every family deserves — to be together again.
