As you may have heard, our dear friend Pat Moss is dealing with a challenging cancer diagnosis and is awaiting major surgery.

For the past five decades, Pat has been a champion for the protection of BC’s environment, from the oil ports inquiry in the 1970s and the fight to save the Bulkley from Kemano II to the battle against fish farms in the Skeena and the campaign to stop Northern Gateway. Those of you who have had the pleasure of working with her know her immense dedication to the place we love. Now she needs our help.

Pat’s health challenges have necessitated a move from her beautiful home in the forest with its wood stove and icy driveway. Her friends have come together to rent a townhouse in Smithers, which is more accessible, requires less work, and allows her friends to provide care more easily.

Funds raised will be put towards the cost of rent, medical travel and associated expenses, which have been piling up. Thank you in advance to everyone who is able to contribute.
