Steve Cerda was only 18 years old when his life on this earth was suddenly cut short on June 23rd. He was the beloved son of Fermin and Beatriz and big brother to Max and Bianca.
Steve's life was just beginning. He had recently earned his driver's license, gone to prom, graduated from Pioneer High School, and registered at Rio Hondo College. Steve loved music and playing the guitar.
He was standing in front of his home talking with friends, when he fell victim to random gun violence.
Steve's beautiful spirit, his smile and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by his family, friends and church community.
Donations of any quantity would be greatly appreciated. Funds will be used to pay for his burial plot and funeral costs at Rose Hills cemetery. Please keep the Cerda family in your prayers during this painful time.

Steve Cerda tenía sólo 18 años cuando su vida en esta tierra fue súbitamente terminado el 23 de junio . El hijo amado de Fermín y Beatriz y hermano mayor a Max y Bianca, la vida de Steve apenas iba empezando. Había logrado sacar su licencia de manejar, asistió su prom , se graduó de Pioneer High School , y había matriculado en Río Hondo College. A Steve le encataba la música y tocar la guitarra .
Estaba parado en frente de su casa hablando con amigos, cuando fue víctima de la violencia de pistola.
Su familia, amistades y comunidad de la iglesia lo extrañaremos mucho: su hermoso espíritu, su sonrisa y el sentido del humor tan maravilloso.
Donaciones de cualquier cantidad serían muy apreciadas. Los fondos serán utilizados para pagar los gastos funerarios en el cementerio Rose Hills . Por favor, mantengan a la familia Cerda en sus oraciones durante este tiempo muy doloroso.
