My name is Jody I’m asking for help for our dad Wade.

Our dad has been through the fight of his life. After courageously battling cancer and finally starting to see the other side of it, almost three months ago his health suddenly took a devastating turn. He developed a severe infection that led to sepsis, leaving him on life support and in a medically induced coma.

For nearly three weeks, he fought for every breath — and by nothing short of a miracle, his strength, determination, and the grace of God brought him back to us. We were blessed to celebrate another birthday with him this year, something we’ll never take for granted.

Today, he’s still in the hospital — nearly three months later — working tirelessly to regain his strength, mobility, and the ability to walk again. His journey is far from over, but his will to recover continues to inspire us every single day.

Our stepmom, Karen, has been his rock through it all. She’s spent every day and night by his side, never leaving him to face this battle alone. Her devotion has been unwavering, but the months away from work and the ongoing costs have created a heavy financial strain at home.

We’re reaching out with love and hope — asking for a little help to ease their burden so they can focus on what truly matters: Dad’s healing and recovery.
