Hi my name is Lakeisha. Most people know me from my issues with my kidney but recently I’ve been experiencing issues with my heart. Recently I’ve had to have a mitrovalve replaced and a pace maker put in. I spent 36 days in the hospital and I’ve recently been released and the healing process at home has started. I’m currently not working and living in Houston because this is where my heart doctors and heart doctors are.

I have had many physical setbacks and continuous emotional challenges. Things have not been easy and the road to recovery will be very long and painful, but I will push through.
