Nyla White is a 13 year old, amazing young woman.  She was born with Spinabifida, club feet and hip dysplasia. Her first surgery was at only 2 days old to close in her spine. At 9 months, she endured multiple surgeries to attempt to correct her club feet. At 2 she went through another surgery to attempt to straighten her legs.  At age 3, another surgery to reconstruct her hips. At the young age of four, she had her right foot amputated, and age 6, her left foot was amputated. She was fited for her first prosthetic leg at 4 and needs "new legs" every 2 years to keep up with her growth spurts!  When she was 11 years old, she had a bone infection that wheel chair bound her for the summer. She is now a beautiful, tough, 13 year old facing another bone infection. She just went through another surgery, debridement of her bone to attempt to stop the bone infection.
Nyla is one tough cookie. You may see her out on the volleyball court or the softball field keeping up with all the girls her age with no disabilities. This amazing young woman works hard at everything she does and has the support of a loving family.  They would never ask for help. That is why I am asking.  At this time, Nyla does not qualify for medicaid or social security due to her parents making a mere 2,000 dollars over the limit.  Please donate to assist with their ever increasing medical bills. Even a simple $10 dollars can help this wonderful family. Along with all the medical bills, time off work and medications...Nyla's prosthetic legs are very expensive.
