Len (Lenny) Kenney is a good person, with a good heart, who’s in a bad place right now. Everyone who knows him, knows that he has a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. Well, he’s got cancer now and needs some of that love back. He doesn’t want his family to have to worry about the bills that keep adding up. His wife has had to take on another job just to try and make ends meet. This means that his kids have to take care of themselves while she’s gone as well as take care of him. They’ve already seen him through a lot. He’s had 25 surgeries, not including the 2 he’s needed for the cancer. Even before being diagnosed with cancer his doctors wouldn’t give him a release to work even part-time light-duty and Disability has denied him twice because of his age and the fact that he rides a motorcycle. He’s broken his neck twice, his back twice, had both of his shoulders rebuilt more than once, and has had many other procedures done. He’s got nerve damage on his right side and his face is partially paralyzed from his last surgery. They need to fuse 3 into the rest, but they are waiting until the cancer is gone and he’s strong enough. He’s been a Union Carpenter for the last 22 years. He can’t do that anymore. While trying to recuperate from his last broken neck and back surgeries he went back to school to study Marine Biology when he got sick and was diagnosed with cancer and had to drop out. All he wants is for his family to be alright. Between taking care of him and trying to make ends meet, it’s getting pretty rough on his family. Any love you can offer would mean the world to him. He lives a very modest lifestyle, nothing extravagant. His monthly bills run right around $3000, not included medical or gas and he’s just trying take some of the weight off of his wife and family. The sooner the better, so that he might be able to keep up with his cancer treatments. The money would go towards paying down their bills and relieving some of the load. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully you can find it in your heart to lend a had. It would mean the world to him if he knew that his wife could quit her second job to be at home with him and the girls (especially ). Thank you again and lots of love to each other.
