Hi Everybody, as many of you know, I have cancer and have been getting chemo since last April. The chemo is pretty disabling and I have not been able to work since then. The bills are mounting and becoming overwhelming. Particularly I'm having trouble covering my mortgage and the expenses for poor old Sunny the horse, who is himself aging and needing extras. He came to me in a time of prosperity over 20 years ago. Somehow I managed to keep him through the downturn of '08 which didn't turn around for me until 2015, and somehow we made it through the long shutdown of Covid, but I am really struggling this time. If all goes well, and the chemo is effective, I'm looking forward to starting back to work in September. Hopefully, at that time, I will be able to start paying my way again, but I am already behind and rapidly sinking. Some of you have already volunteered and helped out financially and in other ways, and I am so grateful for that but it has become apparent that I need more than is coming in right now to tide me over the next 3 months.
