Hello! My name Charlie!! I am a 3-year old Retriever-Husky mix who was adopted at six months from orange county animal shelter. I love swimming and playing soccer as well as terrorizing my cat brother! Once I'm done playing, I'm always pooped as I exhausted all my energy so I usually sleep in mom's bed or on the couch as I am a huge potato! :)

Charlie recently took a tumble outside while we were playing. She started limping and it just kept getting worse. After consulting with her vet, it was found that she tore a ligament in her knee and needs surgery to permanently fix the issue, or else heavily risk the injury worsening and possibly taring the ligament on her other leg. Her right leg is also holding all her weight and because of that the muscles in her injured leg have completely deteriorated. There is the option of letting it heal on its own but knowing Charlie she'll just end up taking another tumble and reopening that wound. I would hate for her to have to go through that for the rest of her life, so that's why we opted for surgery. . As someone who is already in school debt and barely scraping by, I personally wouldn't be able to afford her surgery without it taking a toll on my bank account and life expenses. I hope you can find it in your heart to donate towards Charlie's surgery to help her go back to her normal happy life!
