My mom, Ashley, is now facing the fight of her life. She has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, and after months of enduring chemotherapy that sadly did more harm than good, the cancer has grown and is possibly spreading. She now needs to have one/both of her breasts removed and will be forced to take extended time off work to focus on treatment and recovery. Ashley has always been the one to put everyone else first, smiling through her pain and never asking for help, even when she needs it most. But right now, she is drowning under the weight of bills and everyday expenses while battling for her life.
