Our dear former colleague, Erica, needs your support right now. For 10 years, Erica defended the civil rights and liberties of all of us through her work at the ACLU of Texas. Now, she needs the community’s support.
In September, Erica suffered a heart attack at 40 years old. She fell and hit her head during this incident, causing a traumatic brain injury. This resulted in great memory loss. It also resulted in lost employment, and now she only has enough money to cover her basic expenses for the next month. She needs immediate monetary support as she continues focusing on healing and recovery. Erica has always been a person to show up for others, and now it is time for us to return the love that she has shared!
