Hello everyone, My name is Amaka and I reside in Canada and it's with heavy heart that I share that I recently lost my mother ( Mary). My mother recently passed away from kidney failure after more than 10 years of battling with it. We are so thankful for the amazing doctors in (Canada London Ontario LHSC) that looked after her in 2024 when she was rushed to Victoria hospital and I thought I'd loose her then and nothing prepared me for that. I was so grateful and relieved but when we had to make a tough decision to have her travel back home (Nigeria) to continue her treatment due to high medical bills with no insurance coverage, I felt extreme guilt and fear of the unexpected as her children are in Canada and no close by family member to look after her . Now, I only look to God for strength to get through these difficult times one day at a time and to continue to be the strong mommy for my children who miss their grandmother so dearly. Its with a heavy heart we are seeking financial support for her funeral expenses as her funeral will be in January 2026. Our goal is to support her Funeral expenses and to also pay off the remainder of her outstanding hospital balance here in Canada. May God bless you immensely as you support -no amount is too small.
