Hope for Hope

On Thursday January 31st I had to take my animal support dog, companion, my baby Hope to the vet. Hope has been throwing up black stuff, I knew something was wrong. I didn’t know what was wrong or if she ate something.  Hope had to have an emergency surgery right away. They did X-rays and blood work... nothing was good. Hope had swallowed a stuff animal (whole) causing a blockage, bad toxins, gas, a extreme infection, and her intestines to almost rupture. After the surgery the vet informed me that Hope has a lot of fluid in her lungs causing her to have pneumonia.  Hope wasn’t producing any white blood cells and they were pretty worried of Hope would fight off the infection. Hope also has pancreatitis.  First night after surgery I thought went well, it didn’t. The next day I took Hope  back to the vet  to have another emergency surgery. She wasn’t making any improvement. The vet didn’t think he got everything out. Before suregy he did mention Hope was coughing up a lot of blood (not a good sign). The vet went ahead and started her second suregy. He cut open her stomach and found nothing but toxic fluid, causing her kidneys to discolor. He didn’t find anything else.  Hope now has drain tubes to try to get all the bad fluids out. I don’t know how long this horrible process will go on and I honestly don’t have the financial funds that I need to get my baby back to her happy self. I’m a single, 23 year old. Completely on my own with this stressful situation . I want Hope to jump back to her crazy, loving, happy self. I can’t stand seeing her in so much pain. I love her so much and I can’t imagine living my life with out her. I would appreciate any amount that would help me get Hope to her old self.
