Help Kate Rebuild Her Life and Health

Kate is facing the fight of her life. Battling sarcoidosis, a devastating disease that has attacked her major organs, she’s now preparing for a major surgery with the hope of improving her quality of life. But her journey is far from easy, and she is fighting alone.

Her husband, struggling with alcoholism, has abandoned her, cutting off all financial support and distancing himself from her entirely. Without a support network, Kate is left to navigate this terrifying ordeal on her own. On top of her health struggles, Kate faces the very real threat of losing her home. She is doing everything she can to stay in the place she’s called home, but the only way she can afford it is by renting it out. Without this option, she will be without a place to live, adding even more stress to an already overwhelming situation.

Kate does not qualify for income support and is still waiting for disability benefits. She urgently needs help to afford post-surgery treatment, a safe place to live, and the basic necessities of life.
