After a six year battle, our daughter, Rachel Turnage, beat Leukemia. Rachel is an amazing 9 year old girl. Two weeks ago, Rachel began exhibiting some concerning symptoms. Tests revealed a tumor in the left fronto-parietal lobe of her brain. She has a grade 4 glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) tumor. The prognosis for this inoperable, cancerous, rapidly growing tumor is dismal. Even with this, there is hope. We has heard the words "rare" and "prognosis is only 10-20%" before, and fully intends for Rachel to once again beat the odds. We have been blessed with an incredible vacation provided by Give Kids The World and the Make A Wish Foundation. This is Round 3 for Rachel. As you can imagine, six years of battling cancer has decimated the family finances. We must now ask for help. We appreciate any contribution, no matter how small.
