❤️ Caring for Carson ❤️

Sweet little man is almost 9 months old. Carson was born with a rare genetic disorder called Hyperekplexia, which causes him to seize and stop breathing if he becomes over stimulated. He is also blind in his left eye. With that, Jackie is no longer able to work to become his full time caregiver. After multiple hospital stays, trial and error with medications, and two surgeries, he's finally starting to thrive. However, with the lack of knowledge of his genetic disorder and uncertainty of his progression as he gets older, little Carson has a handful of specialists he sees each week along with two different therapies each week. We are trying to raise a little money to help with the financial burden of only one income, the gas used for all his weekly appointments, his medications, and medical equipment. No family is prepared for a medically fragile baby, but Carson has been a true inspiration to all that meet him with his constant smile through everything he goes through. Any donation is appreciated more than you know, but moreso we ask for your thoughts and prayers as they navigate getting Carson the best care possible for his future as they navigate feeding adversions, communication delays, and intellectual and development delays.
