Hello friends and family,

My name is Jose Armando Valdes. I am posting this on behalf of my uncle, Tony Valdes and his family.

Monday morning, June 9th at around 8:30 am, Tony was arrested by ICE agents at the Carl's Jr. on Edinger and Ritchey.

My uncle is currently being held by ICE. We are looking at hiring a lawyer to fight his case with the hopes he will be able to stay in the US.

Additionally, Tony was the primary provider for his family and has a 15-year-old son and wife that depend on him. Tony has not lived in Mexico for 15+ years, and if deported, will face extreme hardship. All funds collected will go to helping Tony's ongoing legal battle, as well as helping his family maintain stability through this life-changing and traumatic experience.
