September 21, 2019 was just like any other ordinary Saturday in our household. Until the unthinking happened to our sweet Grayson. Grayson slipped into the back yard where the family swimming pool is and accidentally fell into the pool and suffered a near drowning. He was rushed to CaroMont Regional and then soon was airlifted  to  Levine’s Children’s Hospital.  Once there the doctors were trying to prepare us for a poor prognosis for Grayson since he has suffered a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) from the lack of oxygen to his brain from where he fell into the pool.  We spent several days praying and hoping that things were going to take a turn for the better. Grayson had his MRI done  that following Tuesday so we anxiously waited for the result of his MRI. When the neurologist came in it was not the news we wanted to hear. He explained to us that there was an extensive amount of brain damage from the accident. We all wanted to feel defeated but we kept strong to our faith and continued to pray that God’s healing hands are going to reach down and continue to heal Grayson in his own time .  Over the last month we have seen BIG improvements, they told us that he may not breath on his own without being on a ventilator, but he is breathing on his own now without any assistance! He is slowly regaining small movements with his little body some are involuntary while some we feel are more voluntary. We are still praying for a complete healing for Grayson! 
 With all of the events that have taken place there will follow the medical expenses and medical supplies once we are able to bring him home! Anything would be greatly appreciated even if you just send prayers his way! Thank you all... #Graysonstrong
