LOST ALL IN FIRE

I am Lee Woods, and our family is fundraising for our niece, and her son, Logan. Their house caught on fire early this morning January 20 and is a total loss. Lena and Logan live in Sylva, NC. She is a single mother, working but living like many of us, pay check to pay check, raising a wonderful son, who is in the 9th grade. They had no insurance. They have lost everything in the fire except the clothes Logan found in their car which was spared from the fire. Logan plays basketball for Smoky Mountain High School and was injured in a game Tuesday night which left him with a fractured cheek bone that damaged his sinus cavity and was put on bed rest, liquid foods, and to be still and quiet until they can check him again for a concussion. Even though he was so sick and sore, he was the one that had to break a window out of one of their bedrooms, get out and then reach back up to get his mother out. She said she would not have made it if it had not been for Logan because of all the smoke she had inhaled. She doesn't like to ask anyone for help but she truly needs help now. She took care of her parents until they passed away and has always been a sweet, beautiful, loving young lady. She knows that she has a long road ahead and right now nowhere to live. She has faith in the Lord and knows he will take care of them. Any amount you can donate would deeply be appreciated in helping them get on their feet again.
