Please Help me complete my degree

Background

My name is Tofunmi and I am a final year Nigerian international student at Coventry University where I am studying Media and Communications. During my years attending Coventry University, all my tuition fees and welfare were covered by my parents and over the years, I coupled my academic journey with working as a Health Care Assistant part-time to assist them. Asides from the academic and work stress I had on my mental health, everything was pretty fine up until last year.

In 2021 I was held at knifepoint by a client with a major neurocognitive disorder to who I was administering care and things took a terrible turn for me from then. I had a mental health breakdown following this and as I was going into my final year during this traumatic experience, this interfered with and affected my ability to go on with my studies as planned in the academic calendar and inturn affected my Physical health.

I had my second major breakdown in the final semester of my degree and had to take deferrals past the summer to get help. Following the breakdown, I was diagnosed with Mixed Anxiety Depressive Disorder (MADD), my university has been really patient and supportive through the process as I have been given deferrals and extensions when I wasn't in the right space.

I submitted my work awaiting graduation but was met with a series of technical issues involving my deferral timing, makings and lost work, as it was unexpected and unplanned, I have now been granted my last deferral to the next marking deadline which is November 28th for all my modules in order to finish my degree.

As I am now getting better while receiving treatment with Medications and Therapy and with support from my family, friends and church community, I would like to finish my degree.

Problem

I was told I wouldn't be able to renew my visa except I was attending classes as per the home office laws, as it is the only way for me to finish my degree in the UK before I'm allowed to graduate.

As a result of the Covid19 pandemic's effect on family income, my mental health and the timing of this requirement, I am afraid I don’t have the funds needed to complete the upcoming semester, living costs or meet the deadline given, so I am here asking for help.

Donations

This Donation will go towards the Tuition Fees and anything left will go towards Visa Application Fees and Living costs.

Please this is required to keep my visa status in the country, I have until the 12th to get this sorted or I make preparations to leave the country without my degree, please anything you can donate will be helpful.
