April’s Battle

Many of you have the pleasure of knowing my incredible older sister April. She is the definition of the word warrior. Her whole life she has gone to battle. She has battled personal demons, loss, shouldered the woes of those she loved and now she has gone to war with Breast Cancer. Her selflessness is immeasurable. She puts everyone above herself. If you have a need, she is first in line to fill it. She loves hard and with her whole heart. She has saved me too many times to count and I owe her everything. If you know April, then you also know the her incredible little family. Her husband, and my best friend, Dany, her son Jaden and daughter Rylee Jane. Those three are angels on earth and have been such a light for my sister during this dark time. It’s hard to see someone you love suffer. It’s even harder when they are suffering so far away from you. If there ever was a purpose for this platform, this is it. Cancer is expensive. Fighting for you life is not cheap. I want April to focus all of her energy on defeating this demon and not the medical bills piling up. I want Dany to be able to be with his wife without worrying about a missed day of work. As much as they have done for all the people that they love, it only is right for us to return a little of that generosity. Donate if you can, share and spread their story.
