Landslide Disaster
Donation protected
My wonderful niece, who with three children and her disabled mother to care for, managed to put herself through nursing school and became a Registered Nurse that is licensed and employed full-time. She married a wonderful man with two great sons and they were able to take over a family property with a house built by his grandfather and they have shared it with both extended families. They had their wedding there and many family gatherings. Last week, after a winter of record heavy rainfall the neighbors residence and property fell onto their land and home. A huge landslide of mud and debris descended on their land with accompanying waste such as septic tanks and vehicles. The county quickly red tagged their home even though it is still structurally sound and just needs mud moved away from the foundation. This slide and debris covers hundreds of feet down there property, there driveway, parking area, garage in some places 20 feet thick. So my niece, her husband, his mother who needs 24 hour care, three sons and four dogs are homeless. A huge amount of expensive work needs to be done to this slope and property for them to move back. These are two very hardworking people raising a family and they need help. Please help with any donation.
