Many of you may know that our little angel, Sarah, has been fighting for her life at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital down in Palo Alto. October 30th, we raced her to the ER when we noticed she wasn’t breathing well and she was almost immediately air lifted down south. Sarah is working her hardest to get better and she has been doing so great! With the help of the amazing care at Stanford, she is recovering from the pneumonia and is feeling so much better. However, it’s still a long road ahead, being in the hospital for so long comes with its own challenges: the long term sedatives and narcotics have caused some nasty side effects and she has incurred infections and rashes because she is so incredibly sensitive. So as we look forward to bringing her home, there are lots of ways we want to help Sarah get back to her happy healthy self. We are looking at new equipment, treatments, medications and even modifications to her house to make it more comfortable for Sarah’s recovery. However; the costs and financial burden of Sarah’s ICU stay have weighed heavily on our family as we enter the holiday season. Our family has put many years into investing in our community and we reach out that community now. We love you all and if it’s within your hearts and means to donate to Sarah’s recovery, just know how truly grateful we are. Sarah is our Little Warrior and we believe in her. Let’s bring her home!
