Zach started experiencing "stomach issues" when he was 17 years old. Before this began, he was 220 lbs, active, working full-time, and excited about his future. Today, he weighs just 105 lbs, is unable to work, and is unsure of what the future holds.
He is now on his sixth medication with no results and had a feeding tube for almost a year, which also proved unhelpful. Through a miracle, a doctor involved in Zach's care referred him to a world-renowned gastroenterology and transplant center at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
For the first time in a long time, Zach is hopeful.
Due to his health, Zachary doesn’t go out often, but he has a supportive and encouraging group of friends he games with online. Many of these friends have played together for 7 to 10+ years and have been a source of strength when he felt like giving up.
Over the next two weeks, Zach will undergo several tests before his appointment in Cleveland is scheduled, with an anticipated date in the first or second week of April.
If you’re able, your donation would greatly help Zach and his mother, Cindy, with travel, lodging, and other medical expenses for this crucial trip.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference in getting Zach the care he needs and deserves. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world!
Thank you all for your generosity and support!
